Our Program

What does CBO do?

CBO begins working with Scholars their junior year of high school continuing until they graduate from college. Throughout high school they are in the College Access programming. Once in college, Scholars transition into the College Persistence programming. Career Prep programming is offered to Scholars to ensure success after college graduation. Throughout Scholars entire experience with CBO they are paired with a 1:1 mentoring relationship. Mentoring is a vital component to the success of CBO programming.

We are proud to partner with 6 local area high schools; Buffalo Grove High School, Cristo Rey St. Martin College Prep, Deerfield High School, Highland Park High School, Lake Forest High School and Vernon Hills High School.
